We aim to help you become a more confident, rounded performer.
All three strands include elements of acting, singing and dance.
About 50% of your time will be spent concentrating on developing your specialist performing skill. You also have classes in the other two performing arts disciplines and core classes.
The core classes include Professional Studies, which explores the performing arts economy, Acting Through Song and Repertoire and two performance project modules, where you apply the skills learned in all three performing arts disciplines, with an emphasis on your specialisation.
Teaching and Assessment
Our certificate course is taught over our full teaching year and is delivered via a combination of practical workshop-style classes and rehearsal sessions, with some lectures and seminars. This is a largely practical course, and assessment is based on continual assessment and coursework in most cases.
