Technical Services
The Technical Services department is open during term time for 88.5 hours per week: this room is the hub of technical operations at LIPA.
In addition to dealing with general technical queries and providing access to reservation systems for resources in high demand, a diverse range of equipment is available on short-term loan to staff and students.
Loan equipment includes musical instruments, assorted percussion, various recording and playback equipment, digital video and stills cameras, and AV equipment including an industry standard CD duplicator.
Microphone kits, connecting leads and other accessories for use in the music rooms are also available.
Access to the Recording Studio Booking System is provided for the reservation of session time.
In-house maintenance and general repairs are also carried out in this area.
