Fees & Finance

Wherever you choose to study there are two main costs involved: the cost of your tuition and your living costs.

UK/EU degree students

For 2010 entry, the tuition fee was £3,225 for all UK/EU students. We anticipate that the tuition fee for 2011 entry for all UK/EU students will reflect the 2010 tuition fee of £3,290  per year, plus a small increase for inflation in each year for all UK/EU students.

For information about the financial support for students from the UK which was availble for 2010 entry, please see the Document Downloads. It will give you an understanding of the financial support that could be available. We should be in a position to update this in April 2011.

International degree students

The tuition fee cost per year for students from outside the UK and EU studying any of the undergraduate degree programmes for 2010 entry is likely to be £11,975.

The cost of living is extremely reasonable in Liverpool.

As an indication, we recommend that you budget for £6,500 a year to cover rent, food and drink, clothing, leisure activities, books and materials and bills, although this is personal to each individual.
