How To Find Us

The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts occupies a majestic 19th century, Grade 2 listed building. It is located on Hope St, opposite the Anglican Cathedral. LIPA’s entrances are accessed via Mount Street or Pilgrim Street.

By train

We are a 15-minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street and Liverpool Central train stations.

From the M62

At the end of the motorway, follow the signs for the city centre and then the cathedrals. When you reach the Metropolitan Cathedral turn left and head all the way along Hope Street until you reach the end and then turn right on to Upper Duke Street. LIPA is on your right hand side.

 

 

Car parking

Pay and display parking is availiable on many nearby streets including Pilgrim Street and Rodney Street. This on-street parking is currently free after 6pm. Blue Badge holders may park in LIPA's lower car park, which is accessed via Pilgrim Street. These spaces are availiable on a first come, first served basis. Unfortunately, we cannot offer on-site parking facilities on show nights to non badge holders.
