Location and venue
LIPA 4:19 NFS is based in Applemore College’s self contained Creative Arts Block with its purpose built Dance, Drama and Music studios. The College is ideally placed west of Southampton on the edge of the New Forest, easily reached by bus and good road links. There is ample free parking. From the A326, at the Applemore roundabout take the turning to Hythe and Dibden. Then follow the signs to Applemore College, past the Tesco Superstore, Applemore Health and Leisure Centre and in to Roman Road. Do not go to the main reception, go to the Creative Arts Block which is in a separate building to the right of the main block.

Principal
Chris is a qualified experienced teacher, having held responsibility for music departments in several primary schools, she also holds the responsibility for early years workforce development in Southampton. She has thirty years of experience in performing arts locally, including providing music direction for local societies. As Principal of LIPA 4:19 New Forest/Southampton, Chris will be bringing together her passion for performing arts and supporting children and young people. Her aim is that all children and young people who join LIPA 4:19 NFS will develop in confidence, make new friends, have fun and experience the joy of exploring their creative talent and performing. Chris holds a Paediatric First Aid qualification and is trained in Working Together to Safeguard Children.

Teaching staff and assistants
All our teachers are fully qualified with extensive performance experience. They are trained in LIPA’s unique Performing Arts curriculum for children and young people and are CRB checked. They are looking forward to sharing their talent and passion for the performing arts with the children and young people of LIPA 4:19 NFS.

Here at LIPA 4:19 New Forest / Southampton, we aim to offer children and young people the very best opportunities to learn to sing, act, dance and perform in a fun, enjoyable and safe environment.
