Student Support Room
The Student Support Room is situated on level six and is used for meetings with students who need support. Most of these meetings are with students in a one-to-one basis and all meetings are confidential.
The room is fully accessible, has access to natural light and there is a disabled access toilet and shower available off the Student Support Room. There is a computer in the room, a white board and pens, booklets on various topics and text books related to support issues. There is also a supply of differently coloured paper for use by students who need work produced on non-white paper. Work can be printed off onto the printers situated on level six.
The room is bookable through the Student Support Manager. It is mostly used by the Student Support Manager for meetings with students and when specialist tutors work with students. However, if a student has support needs which mean that working within a room alone is important the Student Support Room can also be booked through the Student Support Manager once this is agreed by both parties.
