LIPA's Student Services Department - Information on the extensive range of support available to LIPA students.

Artsline - arts and disabilities - Information for disabled people about arts facilities and entertainment in London.

Art Through Touch - An organisation which aims to promote and provise access to art activity for people who are blind and visually impaired.

Becta - Web site of the British Educational Communications and Technology Agency. This organisation aims to support the integration of technology into education, including providing software, resources and useful web links. The site has a special needs section too.

British Dyslexia Association - Official web site of the BDA, an organisation which provides support and information resources for those with, or working with, dyslexia.

www.disability.gov.uk - The official government website covering all aspects of government policy, such as the New Deal for Disabled People and the Disability Discrimination Act.

Your Able - Comprehensive disability information service, contains links to other Internet resources and useful contacts.

Disability Now - The website of the newspaper, it includes news, feature articles, an archive of past issues and links pages.

Disability Rights Commission - Information on rights, current legislation and the commission itself

Disability UK - Built and maintained by disabled people the site covers a range of issues such as health, benefits and current affairs

Dyslexia Action - A national charity, whose aim is "to ensure that all dyslexic people are educated and can help themselves." Excellent resource on how to support dyslexic individuals and useful links.

4 Disabled Talent - A database set up by Channel 4 for disabled students seeking work in the media.

Full Circle Arts - Disability Arts Development Agency

National Disability Arts Forum - Making the arts accessible for disabled people.

NASEN - Web site of the National Association for Special Educational Needs. This site aims to give support and advice, includes information about their publications and events.

NWDAF - North West Disability Arts Forum

Skill - The national bureau for students with disabilities. Promotes training and employment opportunities for disabled people in further and higher education.

Venue Finder - A free venue locating service. Includes disabled access information.
