Graduates Conference: About
Welcome to the Arts Management Graduates Conference Website.
This year’s event will take place on Monday 9th February 2009 in Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts Sennheiser Studio.
Due to capacity restrictions, admissions to the event are strictly by invitation only.
The Graduate’s Conference provides the opportunity for graduates from the Music, Theatre and Entertainment Management degree to return to the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) and talk to current students and lectures about their experiences in employment since they graduated.
The conference enables graduates and undergraduates to interact openly discussing contemporary issues affecting the Arts Management economy. It also allows the undergraduates to gain an insight into “life after LIPA” and how the current graduates approached the task of finding employment within the Arts economy.
Graduates invited to speak at the conference are involved with varying roles within the Arts and Entertainment industries, providing a varied insight into the potential employment possibilities the Music, Theatre and Entertainment Management course can prepare the undergraduates for.
This year’s conference will host two panels with all of the attending graduates, enabling an open discussion between the graduates and undergraduates to occur.
