LIPA 4:19 Acting Teacher
Alison is a trained actress, singer and dancer with extensive professional experience, both on stage and screen. Her training has included a course in performing arts at North Cheshire Theatre School under the direction of David Johnson, as well as coaching lessons in elocution. She has also passed numerous LAMDA examinations.
Alison has toured nationally with the voice choir Preludeium and 1940s tribute band Land, Sea and Sky. During the past ten years she has taught drama and musical theatre throughout the North West and has trained pupils of all ages and abilities. Her experience includes working as Head of Drama at the Art House of theatre and dance, as well as teaching the BTEC National in Performing Arts at South Trafford college. She has also worked at Tatton Park both with the education department bringing living history to life for school trips as well as the Marketing team to create outside theatre productions; and has trained in confidence building, child behavioural management and is a qualified first aider.
Alison is a published writer and has her own company 'Yellow Brick Road workshops' – which offer Drama, Literacy and History workshops for schools.
She also runs a LIPA 4:19 Franchise school in Cheshire.
