Lipa team move new 'Cahill' video

The new club anthem from Liverpool DJ's Cahill features a host of LIPA dance talent.

The suggestively sexy video for 'Sexshooter', choreographed by Lindsay Inglesby, dance lecturer at LIPA, saw LIPA dance students, Rosie Terry, Charlotte Plowright, Nicole Webb and LIPA visiting lecturer Alex Bryan, perform their routine with singer Nikki Belle.

After 3 days of rehearsing and a full day of shooting at 'Society' in Liverpool, the dancers came away with a real taste of the hard work that underpins the glamour, “It was a lot of fun mixed with hard work, but brilliant to work with Nikki Belle, the other dancers and Integral Management”, said Rosie.

For Charlotte, performing in front of the cameras was a new experience, “The crew were extremely efficient and courteous, which made the dancers feel at ease and the chance to enjoy the day’s shoot. It was amazing to be involved in this process whilst gaining an insight to the industry”.

Gaining industry experience is an important part of the LIPA philosophy, ”The experience was great for me, it was my first professional job, so it has jump started my career in commercial dance”, commented Nicole.

Anton Powers, the DJ behind ‘Cahill’, was impressed with the professionalism of the LIPA team, “The LIPA dancers were awesome. The girls were so professional and just looked the part! More importantly – they seemed really natural on set and gave the video that X Factor!”
