LIPA features prominently in this month's issue of uber cool fashion and lifestyle bible, Marie Claire.
Venturing behind the scenes at LIPA, Marie Claire questioned students and staff on fame and celebrity, sat in on classes and soaked up the energy and atmosphere running through the corridors, canteen and performance spaces.
The five page spread includes exciting photos of LIPA students at work by Jocelyn Bain Hogg, with a positive commentary from Marie Claire writer Damon Syson. The team from Marie Claire were pleasantly surprised by what they saw at LIPA,"I thought it was going to be a bit naff", said Jocelyn, "but the kids we're refeshing." Writer Damon Syson was equally impressed with the student talent on show at LIPA,"whether performing classical or street theatre with cardboard boxes,the students' enthusiasm is infectious".
