Sophie Jones - Specialist Study Skills Tutor

Sophie has been a member of the Student Support Team at Lipa since 2005. She started as a note taker and became a Specialist Study Skills Tutor in October 2007.
Sophie studied and completed the Hornsby Course in Dyslexia and Literacy in 2009.
Sophie’s particular area of interest is dyslexia and she enjoys specialising in working with students with dyslexia. She supports her students by helping them to organise and structure their written assignments. She also provides support with researching and referencing and prioritising and timetabling tasks.
Sophie works on a freelance basis dividing her time between LIPA and LJMU where she also works as a dyslexia support tutor. She is normally available to meet up with Monday to Thursday.
