A financial crisis threatens the political stability of the small state of Yahoo. Fearing the poor may turn against them, the landowning elite announce a new form of social segregation based on head shape.

Round Heads are deemed morally superior, while those with Pointed Heads are blamed for society’s woes. Feuds between neighbours erupt while the wealthy elite continue to profit. But things change when a rich Pointed Head is accused of assaulting the daughter of a poor Round Head.

Set in a colourful fantasy land, Brecht’s play is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure and explores issues of power, class and race in a humorous and accessible parable.
