Coming Soon!

Wireless access is available to members of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts throughout our Mount Street campus, as well as to visitors from other educational facilities.

If you use eduroam, you can connect automatically without requesting a wireless login. For visitors who are not from an organisation that provides eduroam access, you can visit our Learning Resources Centre where a member of staff will grant your device 24hrs guest access.

What is eduroam?

eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.

eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop.

In the UK, eduroam is operated and provided by Janet under the eduroam(UK) brand.

Where can I connect to eduroam?

At LIPA you can connect to eduroam in all buildings on the Mount Street campus.

eduroam is also available from organisations throughout the world, a map of which is available here.

How do I connect to eduroam?

If you are a visitor to LIPA from an organisation that provides eduroam, you should connect automatically. You should contact your own site’s IT staff for assistance if you have not already been setup to connect to eduroam.

Members of LIPA can follow the instructions provided to setup their devices for connecting to eduroam. It is recommended that you do this whilst at the Mount Street campus before travelling to another location where you may wish to use the eduroam service.
