We were thrilled to welcome Pixie Lott to LIPA to perform a superb acoustic set and take part in a Q&A with students.
The singer-songwriter, who was accompanied by guitarist Charlie MacDonald, performed five songs - including material from her new album Encino – before chatting to students about her career.
Although it was Pixie’s first visit to LIPA, she already had a connection having co-written her debut single and first UK number one, Mama Do with LIPA Music grad Mads Hague. Pixie said:
“I’ve heard amazing things about LIPA, I’ve had friends who have come here, and I’m so impressed. The facilities, the theatre, the sound equipment, and everyone seems to be so passionate about music.”
