Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) are excited to announce our upcoming conference on the 8th January 2026, AI in the HE Creative Curriculum.
By bringing together intersectional fields of HE education, we hope to bring new perspectives to questions of power, effect and the infrastructures of the HE creative curriculum.
Overview
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming creative education. From generative tools in music and performance to curriculum design and assessment, AI offers both opportunities and challenges. This one-day conference invites a broad range of speakers, from educators, researchers, practitioners, and technologists, to explore how AI is reshaping the higher education creative curriculum across disciplines.

Proposal Types
- Traditional Conference Papers – 20-minute presentations followed by Q&A
- Practical Workshops – 60-minute hands-on sessions
- Demonstrations – 30-minute showcases of tools, techniques, or projects
- Panel Discussions – 45-minute themed conversations with multiple contributors
